Cataracts are one of the major causes of preventable blindness. This means that if the cataract is removed, the person will be able to see again. World Sight day is on 10 October and we contribute to the community by offering our services to help those in need. The Cataract Blitz will take place on 9 October at Pasteur Hospital in Bloemfontein. Seven patients with cataracts will be operated on and receive a sponsored intra-ocular lens at no cost. It is a privilege to give back to the community and make a difference in the lives of those who need vision!
